Stroopwafel at Trader Joe's

Adam’s been munching on these tasty Dutch, mini waffle cookies. Consisting of two, thin mini waffle layers sandwiching either a caramel or molasses-like spread.

We at No Agenda Entertainment decided to investigate where to find them near our Oakland home. Yesterday while picking up some items at the Rockridge Trader Joe’s, I  was looking at products in the open refrigerator aisle, when I became transifixed by a little bag of cookies on a higher shelf  labeled ‘Caramel Bites’ – “these look like the little dutch cookies Adam was talking about.” I flipped the bag over and  saw in small type that they were indeed, Stroopwafel!

QuietCare®

Hey grandma, I don’t like your behavioral pattern!

Adam Curry brought up the GE QuietCare system which is a platform of networked  servers and sensors configured to monitor the patterns of seniors in assisted care facilities.  It learns the patterns of when the subject is awake, opening and closing cupboards and the refrigerator. If the monitored person does something something out of their ‘normal’ pattern, it alerts the staff!

Great story at Fast Company.

Former National Security Advisor, Zbignew Brezinski’s lays out his blueprint for US and global foreign policy in this book. Currently he advises Obama and some of his family is even in the Obama administration.  Dvorak was theorizing that Brezinski and other globalists have a blueprint  for the unrest in the mideast and N. Africa be used to help create European Union-like, collection of Mideast states. That way there is a United States/N.America Union, a European Union and a Mideast Union with the Trilateralists on top!

During NA 285, Adam mentioned he was recently reading, “Moonwalking with Shakespeare”. Ironically, the book is about memory and he remembered the title incorrectly!

The  author’s journey follows the U.S. Memory Championship and how its participants use their memory. An interesting concept explored are Memory Palace’s.

Adam and John discussed how the jingles imprint in your memory for a very long time.
