Dvorak discussed Portland’s latest strip club, Casa Diablo which features vegan food. Portland is awesome for many reasons but having the most strippers per capita is one of them! Most of the strip clubs are affordable and are everywhere, unlike the high priced ones in the SF Bay Area. Plus, the girls can get completely naked in Stumptown!

Jill Abramson, the head editor of the New York Times from a recent C-SPAN interview. According to John Dvorak, this woman exemplifies the phenomenon, known as the Berkeley Hummer. Women that speak with a non-stop humming sound!

In NA 268, Adam Curry brought up the documentary Lifting The Veil. Adam thought it was full of the clips that they have played on No Agenda since the beginning of the podcast. The filming style is sometimes similar to Dvorak’s favorite documentary filmmaker, Adam Curtis.
After a No Agenda listener requested some ‘good karma’ for his student son, Adam mentinoed this documentary that is posted on YouTube.
Adam went on that people are coming out to the job market with a student loan debt of 300k! Eventually these people will need to be bailed out. Our education debt is now over a trillion dollars but at least we have a lot of smart people!
The cartoon characters of Happy Tree Friends were enlisted to make this instructional video to help instruct YouTube users the ins and outs of Copyright law and what is appropriate to post on YouTube. While playing the clip during NA 269, Adam sighed, “How sad is that!” He was in danger of going into a funk again because the video trivialized copyright’s fair use provisions. Adam also pointed out that he thought the cartoon seemed to copy Rocky and Bullwinkle with it’s Lumpy character. He next declared Google’s Serge Brin “evil” for releasing this video! Dvorak declared the video pathetic.
At No Agenda Entertainment, we’ve been fans of Happy Tree Friends and their usually comic and violent escapades for years and hate having to see them used for this manner!
What if you had to have constant orgasms to function? Supposedly, Chantix, the beleaguered and controversial nicotine weaning drug, might help you out!
During NA #264, Dvorak mentioned this episode of CNBC’s American Greed which featured the story on how Health South cooked their books in order to create the illusion that they were doing better than they really were. Â What revenue the company did take in, they paid to the IRS in taxes so they could further perpetrate the fraud. Dvorak postulated that regulators are reluctant to investigate and prosecute since they are taking in all that tax money.
Adam likes Dylan Ratigan of MSNBC (used to be on CNBC). He often discusses the problems and fraud being perpetrated by the Federal Reserve with the bank bailouts and Quantitative Easing.
During NA 262, John Dvorak offered up this clip about Hooters. Adam responded, “the girls there have no more hooters” and “it’s boring and has horrible food!”. He also compalined that the girls there are flat-chested due to a lawsuit.
